Iran’s nuclear program is one of the key drivers of sustainable development, prosperity, and progress in the country. As a semi-arid country with limited access to freshwater, Iran faces real challenges in meeting the needs of its growing population. This is where nuclear technology steps in—not just in terms of energy, but in ways that touch the daily lives of its ordinary people, including in areas such as agriculture and food security, medicine and health, and of course environment and clean energy.
